I have only recently discovered the awesomeness of interlibrary loans and have quite the pile of books to read on my end table and more on their way. It is so awesome to be able to read almost any book i want without having to buy them. I decided to dive in to the pile tonight and started with this little gem. Local food is a huge passion of mine & i devour most anything i can on the subject. This book is a collection of short essays and recipes. It is warm, familiar and addictingly easy to read. I started it a little over 3hrs ago and I’m already 3/4 of the way through. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the local food movement or preservation.
